Jesuit Centre for Faith and Justice developing a Volunteer Handbook
The Jesuit Centre for Faith and Justice is currently compiling a guidebook of volunteering opportunities available within the Criminal Justice System. We are looking for organisations that wish to include information about their volunteering opportunities in the publication.
- Preventative activities, such as diversion projects
- Reducing re-offending (e.g. mentoring projects) Providing support from arrest through to post-sentence
- Supporting victims Administering justice
The guidebook will raise awareness of the organisations that are actively engaged in this area, as well as providing potential volunteers with an easy to use reference point when seeking out organisations or projects with whom they can contribute.
